Most of you probably already know that you can boost your search engine rankings by getting back links to your site, but how many of you are using blog comments to get back links?

You have probably heard that you shouldn’t waste your time with blog comments because the search engines don’t follow the link because of the no follow tag.

There is a trace of truth to this but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t use blog comments to get back links because there are some blogs that don’t have the no follow tags on their comments.

WordPress by default adds the no follow tags to the comment section but there are people that will remove the no follow tags from your comments in return for you leaving comments. Believe it or not there is a way you can find these blogs with a search.

Before I get into what to look for to find blogs without the no follow tag I want to cover comment etiquette.

Any comment you leave on a blog MUST have something to do with the content of the post.

For example if the post is on blog comments your comment should be related to that post and have something to do with the content of the post. Don’t leave a comment talking about how to conquer the newest MLM offering.

Don’t put links in the body of your comment. This is very bad etiquette unless the link is to a resource that expands on your comment. This doesn’t mean if you have a site on sports fishing you can put a link to your site in the comment body but if the post is on a new way to string a leader you can put a link to a page (on your site or another) that shows how to do this.

Most of the time when I set up a blog I set the comments in the discussion area so that if you put links in the body of the comment it will send your comment to moderation where I have to review and approve or deny the comment before it is posted. This stops all the spammy links.

Everybody knows traffic can bring earnings on the Internet. The more traffic, more profitable a website is. But a large number of websites are unsuccessful to earn profits. Each visitor that reviews products and services on a web page is capable of becoming a purchaser. But to get these probable purchasers, firstly your website must have traffic.

There’s a reason why high traffic websites are highly found. May it be luck? I don’t think so. In fact, betting on the luck is a problem these days. You can be sure that to achieve that, structure and layout of websites were improved by the efforts of its designers and, showy and creative methods were invented to attract as many visitors as possible in order to convert them into real customers.

Luck really has nothing to do with successfully reeling in traffic from the Internet. Oversight, ambition, thoughtfulness, and hard work is required to make the money flow. Also, some investment is required in order to ensure that the website is as professional as possible.

Like in a brick-and-mortar store, people can stop by, browse, compare, or just amuse themselves with your offerings. Once in a while, one of these people who are “just looking” will make an impulse purchase. The same dynamic occurs on websites, and with probably even greater frequency. Especially if, instead of a purchase, the person just has to click on a link.

Website traffic is one of the most important components to a successful online business. No traffic means no conversions, which ultimately mean no website monetization via ether pay per click, affiliate sales or sales of your own product/service. You need these actions to get paid for the work you have done, therefore you need traffic to accomplish it.

The most important task of every website owner is to find the key to the traffic lock and to begin generating traffic, or, better yet, pumping a lot of traffic. To be even more precise, the idea would be to generate a lot of quality traffic. Its always easier in theory than in real life. Most webmasters consider it barely possible to find the effective way to generate and drive traffic to their sites, let alone to significantly increase the size of the web site traffic.

Of course there is one way that can quickly lead to increased traffic. Its a no brainer. Just sign up for any number of ppc programs such as Google Adwords or Yahoo SearchMarketing, or MSN AdCenter, and youll get almost instant traffic. With google the traffic is literally just minutes away. With Yahoo and MSN you have to go through the approval process which can take a few days. Hence I used the phrase almost instant traffic, and not instant traffic.

It still better though than trying to drive traffic to your website with any other method. I would say that ppc traffic is the quickest and easiest to get. There is one problem though. PPC traffic is expensive. And if you have no traffic on your site yet then you dont have any income streams from the site and your budget is probably limited, to say the least.

I bet you’ve already heard about Jonathan Leger’s 3WayLinks network, been sent to their sales page but weren’t sure if the 3WayLinks was just another BS or your true SEO savior, right?

You see, I’ve always been a big fan of automation traffic generation solutions to develop my online business. When I first heard about this 3WayLinks network, I was instantly skeptical just like you because there are too many link farm networks out there that are trying to spam the search engines.

But after read a few excellent search engine optimization articles on Jon’s blog, I was convinced that Jon’s a cool guy that really authoritative in SEO field and actually know very well what he’s doing, so I signed up and gave it a try.

After five months of testing, I can finally say that 3WayLinks.net is a reliable SEO network which actually delivers on what it promises. It does actually help you achieve top ten rankings in Google.

I’m not talking about how Jon’s 3WayLinks system works here (you can learn about it on his website) - I want to share with you my own results here so you have some cold hard facts to help you decide if it’s worth it for you.

I built a blog that just dedicated to promote one Clickbank product on the site and then plug the site in the 3WayLinks network aimed to rank 3 very targeted product related keywords.

The term SEO, or search engine optimization, is still an unknown to virtually everyone who doesn’t work in that field. Most people have never even heard of the term nor know what it refers to. But the more interesting part is that even within the SEO industry, not everyone agrees on how best to approach the problems SEO sets out to solve.

There are of course the basic guidelines: lots of content on site, properly formed meta tags, get inbound links, give outbound links appropriately, and strong site organization. But the reason SEO continues to be more of an art than a scientific method is because there is no one way to accomplish these things. Exactly how much content does a site need, and how many times does a keyword need to be on a page? How many inbound links do I need and how do I get them? Are paid links ok? Are comment links ok? What makes a good title tag? A good h1 tag? Am I doing anything else wrong that will hurt my rankings?

Ask 10 SEO companies s to perform a site analysis, and you;ll get 10 different reports. Luckily most of them will have quite a bit of overlap. And luckier still, provided they are bona fide SEOs , most will not have any outright conflicting advice. But still, the finesse and attention to detail that a good SEO agent possesses will be evident in the varied responses you would see in these 10 reports.

If you need a lot of exposure for your website, you should consider using guaranteed links. These guaranteed links will let so many more people see your site, and see it within a shorter amount of time than the time that you have to wait for other advertising strategies to show a result. Help your website succeed with guaranteed links.

Many of the major search engines such as Yahoo and Google are picky when it comes to presented backlinks that are on a website. The search engines will only show the ones that they think are relevant, and not the ones that you want them to show. A way to combat this is to use guaranteed links. If you use guaranteed links from a service, you will be able to get your permanent links shown on search engines all the time. The guaranteed links all come from directories, so this is the only way to get your links recognized every single time.

If you want to make a serious effort to make your website a success, you will want to use guaranteed links. You can also use free directory submissions, but there is a clear difference in the systems. The different between free directory submissions and guaranteed links is that submitting to free directories may give you permanent links in return, but guarantees links promise you those returns that you want. You will get guaranteed links from up to 500 directories all across the internet.

The key to success on the internet is simply about numbers. The more numbers and traffic you generate to your site the more potential sales you can generate. If you have a great website it is irrelevant if no one visits your site. To generate traffic and potential customers to your site outsourcing article writers could be the best option. Article writing is also seen as one of the best search engine optimization (SEO) strategies available because of the quality and amount of links you can create. To achieve great results you will need to put in the work and the time but the SEO benefits are massive.

The key to being a good article writer is the ability to provide high quality and valuable content to the reader. If the article writer is able to do this, more websites will be likely accept your article. This then creates a greater range of one way links to your website. It is imperative that you do not promote your website directly but there is normally a section at the bottom where you are able to discuss your expertise.

If you are serious about developing and growing an internet business then article writing is essential. Can you allow the time in your busy schedule to become an article writer? Many people like myself enjoy writing articles but if it is not for you then outsourcing article writing expertise is something you should consider. Search engines like Yahoo and Google rank one way links to your site very highly. Particularly if you have high quality content in both the written articles and your website.

Those who have been in the industry since the late 90’s have seen huge changes in SEO. The industry has really matured. But in the grand scheme of things, if you were to plot SEO on a product life cycle chart you would see that the industry is still in its’ infancy. SEO - Introduction Stage - Starting about 1998

Companies who were around in the introduction stage often had to build product awareness and develop a market for SEO. In the early ‘2000’s, many of our clients had just build their first websites. This was a significant investment for them and they thought that now that they have a website, the online sales would just flow in. Many didn’t realize that they had just invested serious coin into an over-priced business card. Because nobody could find them.

At this point, there was little consistency in the product. And as the algorithm got more complex, the SEO offering varied more. Some companies were offering to “submit to hundreds of search engines” (some still are) whilst others were offering usability, analytics and site architectural input in addition to on-page and off-page SEO.

SEO - Early Growth Stage - we’re still just at the beginning of it.

In the early growth stage, smart SEO companies are beginning to think about building their brand and to increase market share. Demand is increasing as more customers understand the benefits of “getting found”. There is some competition at this stage but because the market is broadening so much, competition is limited and there is still a huge amount of camaraderie within the industry. 10 years into it, it?s easy to assume that our industry is more mature than it actually is. We’ve only just begun.

Customer Implication

Demand has already started to increase but it is going to skyrocket. And it’s going to come from all types of business from very small customers to Enterprise type of businesses.

Up until recently, the neighborhood dry cleaner didn’t care if someone across the country found their website because they deal within a 5 km radius got very little benefit from optimizing their website. Now as local search gets much better, those local business will become much more serious about the opportunities online

It is also likely that we’ll see a lot of growth from Enterprise clients. These clients previously resisted SEO due to the complexity of working within legacy back-end systems. As technology increases and back-end systems become less expensive for more capability, we’re going to see companies replace their antiquated CMS’s with Search Engine Optimization friendly options.

Another change that this stage of the product life cycle will bring is in our relationship with the client. As SEO becomes a bigger part of the mainstream marketing mix, our customers will become more and more knowledgeable about SEO (we?re already starting to see this).

We’ll move from having a sales / consultative role to being a thought partner. Our clients will have a good understanding of what needs to be done but they’ll outsource it to us because we’re more efficient at implementing.

I thought when I first saw this SEO linking system known as 3WayLinks by the web guru Jon Leger… I doubted the whole thing it seems to be the real deal.

It seems like one of those “too good to be true” deals that I generally stay away from. But I had a friend that joined and was giving it rave reviews, so I decided to take a closer look at this “miracle solution” to linking.

Looking at it now after being on the service for almost a year now, I would say it is not “miracle service” for it cannot grab the #1 spot in a highly competitive niche market, like “insurance” but I know for a fact it has helped me to grab the top rankings in some smaller niche keyword phrases.

It has helped me get to the top of the engines for several “long tail” keyword phrases that requires less link popularity to rank for. It will take a few weeks but it is definitely worth the wait.

The way the links grow is slow, and as your network of links grow, your PR grows.

At first, I tried this on sites that I did not care much about and saw good results the rankings began to climb.
